Hard Life

Believe it or not, your life, work, and friends depend on how you look. A friendly face opens doors, employment, and friends. A hard rock face like the one I have drawn isn’t friendly to employers, you end up with different sorts of ‘friends’. Yes, it’s a fact of life and how some of us react to how we look. Yes, that’s discrimination but it is a fact!

Nurses Protecting their country

Series of nine pieces depicting nurses protecting her country against Covid. China is depicted in Red and in the middle of the series as this is where Covid originated from. The series took two years to complete as they were done at different stages between 2020 and 2022.

Vishnu in Polygon

Started this piece in early 2018 and completed it around 2021. The initial mapping out the many many triangles took a long time. Then deciding which colours would go into which triangle. Unfortunately, all the pale colours in Posca pen were not available, so had to resort to adding some triangles with acrylic paint. A couple of triangles were not filled without spoiling the work.

Sea of Colours

Purple Forrest SOLD

An original piece created on thick art paper. No brushes were used to create this amazing piece, only the edge of the cardboard, wire wool, and tissue paper. Matt Black Frame with double black and dark blue mounts is ready to be hung up.
This work has been popular with so many customers. Commissioned a replica of this work onto a 24″ x 18″ hardboard canvas for a customer.
Medium: Acrylic and texture paste. Parts of the work have embossed textured paste so one can feel the bark and leaves.

Metallic Line Art

The work is currently being reframed. Created with textured paste so you can touch/feel the mountain/clouds/water. Normally artist paints the ‘calm before the storm’. Not many (if any) depict ‘Storm after the calm’.

Tree of Unity

Inspiration to create this work came during the marriage of Harry & Megan. Celebrating the unity of two cultures/people/humanity / acceptance and inclusion. The work shows two sets of birds flying to create a unit of bond from a background of their heritage which is represented as the trees.

Love-Knowledge-Wealth

Triptych representation of how these animal forms are celebrated in Hinduism. The cow is regarded as love, mainly because Krishna loved cows, which is the main reason why Hindus do not eat Beef. The Elephant represents Knowledge; because Ganesh wrote The Mahabharata. The Turtle represents wealth because it brings luck. Most Hindus have an image of a turtle in their home.
